About Us
New Deliverance is a Christ-centered, Bible-believing,
“Spirit-filled”, Holiness church that was established in 1995. Through rightly
divided Bible-centered preaching and teaching, and prayer, NDEC encourages and
empowers its members to strengthen and develop their personal relationships with
Christ.
The
teaching of the Word of God is in a practical, interactive fashion, making the
Word applicable to Christian life and growth in the 21st century. This teaching
addresses sensitive subjects, creates engaging dialogue among attendees during
Bible Study and makes the Word of the Bible relevant to today's struggles.
Under Bishop and Mother Glenn's leadership and devotion to the
furtherance of ministry, many outreach ministries have been established and the
needs of the membership of NDEC and the surrounding community have, and continue
to be met.
Since the inception of NDEC, Bishop Glenn's philosophy has been
simple, preach Holiness, encourage a personal relationship with Jesus Christ,
save souls from hell and continually tell of the miraculous power of the Holy
Spirit to deliver. The message of NDEC appeals to "the least of these" and has
resonated with those who have, in times past, not lived most "Godly" lives.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God and the teaching and
preaching of JESUS, NDEC's reputation for acceptance, with love, of any
and everyone who thirsts for an experience with God's abounds.
Most significantly, thousands of souls have been saved! The bound
have been delivered from life-threatening circumstances, self-destructive habits
and life altering situations. Healing has gone forth. Men and women have been
set free from the bondage of sinful, Godless lives and lifestyles.
NDEC, under the leadership of Bishop G.O. Glenn. is
affiliated with the Church of God in Christ.
Statement of Beliefs
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and the only infallible Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the blessed hope, which is the rapture of the church of God, which is in the Christ, at his
return.
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin, is through repentance, faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ; and after salvation being baptized in water. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
We believe that the empowerment of the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 1 :5, 1 :8, 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.
We believe in a Theocratic form of church government according to Jeremiah 3: 15, Acts 20:28-30 and Ephesians 4: 11-15;
AMEN.
